The company says the wintry weather impacted the length of time for repair. Eventually, the cuts to the fibre were repaired at approximately 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The outage impacted many Bruce Telecom customers, and extended to various service providers.
Lambton OPP are on the lookout for a break and enter suspect.
