Charges laid following search warrant execution

Grey Bruce OPP have laid numerous charges following the execution of a search warrant in Chatsworth.

On October 16, officers were informed that a skid steer was stolen, and the location on the installed GPS system of the skid steer was pinging at a location near Holland Centre in Chatsworth Township.

Police executed a search warrant at the property, where they seized stolen property including the skid steer, a dump trailer, as well as other various trailers and licence plates which totalled in excess of $147,000.

As a result, a 50-year-old and 67-year-old, both from Chatsworth Township, are facing numerous charges including possession of property obtained by crime over and under $5,000.

Both of the accused will be appearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on November 23.
