Owen Sound police responded to a residence on the east end of the city early Sunday morning.
Police said that just before 1 a.m. they received reports that a truck had driven into the front of a home.
"It was evident the truck drove over the front lawn, onto the porch, and crashed through the front wall of the house coming to rest in the living room. The collision caused a significant amount of structural damage," police said in a release.
The homeowners were sleeping in the home at the time of the collision, but there were no reported injuries.
Police determined that the driver's blood alcohol concentration was over two and a half times the legal limit at the time of the incident.
The driver is scheduled to appear in court next month.
