The South Bruce Grey Health Centre says another local emergency department will close during the Thanksgiving long weekend.
The Durham Emergency Department will close on Saturday, October 7 at 5 p.m. and will reopen Sunday, October 8 at 7 a.m. The closure is due to staffing issues.
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 911 to be taken to the nearest Emergency Department. For non-urgent health care needs, Health Connect Ontario is available 24/7 for non-emergency health-related questions by calling 811.
