HPHA declares COVID-19 outbreak in local hospital

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance has announced a COVID-19 outbreak at the Seaforth Community Hospital.

The outbreak has been declared on the Inpatient Unit at the hospital. An outbreak is declared when two or more staff or patients test positive for COVID-19.

The Inpatient Unit in Seaforth is now closed to admissions until further notice.

Those visiting patients at the hospital are required to follow any posted instructions and are asked to limit their interaction to one patient per visit. Do not come to the hospital for visits if you're feeling unwell or exhibiting any COVID-19 or flu-related symptoms.
