Break and enter results in $3,000 loss

A break and enter into a new build in West Perth has resulted in a $3,000 loss.

Police received the report on August 29 about a break-in at a building on Thames Avenue. Sometime overnight on August 28 and 29, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence, taking around $3,000 worth of tools.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.

OPP are reminding citizens to keep all vehicles and buildings locked and report any suspicious activity as soon as possible. They also ask citizens to consider security measures, like more lights, cameras, or alarms.
