United Way hosting lunch event to help kickstart fundraising campaign

United Way Perth Huron will be hosting a lunch event to help kick off their 2023-24 fundraising campaign in Exeter.

On September 22, United Way will be holding a Feels Like Home — Lunch ‘n’ Learn from noon until 1:30 p.m. at the Exeter Pentecostal Tabernacle.

Tickets are $20 for a catered lunch from Canton House Buffet, and a panel of guest speakers will be in attendance from local social service organizations, who will share their experiences and roles working within the Southern Huron Connection Centre

Attendees will also hear a personal story of how the centre helped in a time of need.

A question-and-answer session will follow and there will also be a tour of the Connection Centre for anyone interested in seeing the location firsthand. For more information and a link to buy tickets, visit perthhuron.unitedway.ca.
