Perth County OPP officers charged two people after a disturbance in North Perth, including one count of assault with a weapon.
On August 10, 2023, police officers responded to a report of a disturbance that had taken place at an address on Elm Avenue North. The victim sustained minor injuries.
Two suspects, a 20-year-old and a14-year-old both from North Perth, were arrested and charged with Mischief Under $5000. The 14-year-old was also charged with Assault with a Weapon.
Both accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on a later date, to answer to the charges.
