Police investigating skid steer theft

Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating the theft of a Bobcat skid steer.

On Wednesday, police received a report that the machine was stolen over the weekend.

Video surveillance shows a suspect loading the skid steer into a white, dual axle cargo trailer at 8 p.m. on Sunday. The enclosed trailer was hooked up to a black Dodge Ram pickup truck that was last seen travelling south.

The skid steer is a white and orange coloured Bobcat MT 100 with an auger attachment on front. The serial number is B52P35357.

It's worth more than $42,800.

The suspect is described as a man wearing a black hoodie, beige shorts, and white shoes.
