Township holding Community Engagement Day

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is hosting a Community Engagement Day.

It will take place at Grey Roots Museum on August 24, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Residents can come out and share opinions and ideas on a number of different initiatives and plans in the municipality.

Items that will be up for discussion include:

1. Short Term Accommodations

2. The Corporate Climate Action Plan

3. Georgian Bluff’s 2024 Budget

4. The Official Plan

5. The Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

Each topic will be explored in 30-minute facilitated discussion sessions. Each session will be repeated multiple times through the event to allow community members to have input on as many, or as few topics as they like.

"Engage GB: Connect and Collaborate is a new event for the Township and we hope offers another way residents can connect with us and share their views, shaping the actions of tomorrow. Your voices and experiences matter, and together, we can build a vibrant community that we are all proud to call home,” shared Niall Lobley, Acting CAO and Director of Community & Environmental Services.

If you are unable to attend the event in person, visit www.engageGB.ca, where an online engagement space for each topic of discussion is available for input. You can also find hard copies of surveys and comment cards at the Township office, and all three Community Centres.
