Police have charged a Stratford teenager following an investigation into a recent stabbing that sent three other teens to the hospital.
Huron County OPP responded on July 30 at 12:45 a.m. after a report that several youths had been attacked by someone with a knife at a residence in Clinton. Police discovered that three victims under the age of 18 had been injured and taken to the Goderich hospital. The injuries were luckily non-life threatening.
The suspect ran away from the scene before police arrived. Following an investigation, police have charged a 15-year-old youth from Stratford with one count of aggravated assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failure to comply with undertaking.
The accused, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is being held pending a bail hearing.
