Huron County OPP have charged the youth that drove a vehicle into a Goderich school last week.
The 17-year-old from North Middlesex faces charges for dangerous operation, mischief over $5,000, and taking a motor vehicle without consent.
Emergency services responded to a call around 5:50 a.m. on July 24, after a minivan had crashed through a brick wall at the Goderich Public School. The vehicle caused extensive damage to the library and an adjoining classroom.
The driver was transported to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
They will appear in Goderich youth court at a later date to answer to the charges.
