Stratford Police look to reunite residents with stolen property

If you've lost or had documentation stolen around Stratford, then local police want to hear from you.

Stratford Police recovered over 550 pieces of suspected stolen property while executing a search warrant at a Britannia Street residence last month.

The items include credit and debit cards, drivers licenses, passports, Social Insurance Number cards, health cards, gift cards, membership cards, personal mail, cheques and keys.

Police say they've linked the property to 269 different victims, and only have reports on file for 21 of them.

While they're attempting to speak to each person affected, officers don't have contact information for many of the victims.

If you've had any of those items disappear in the last three years, you're encouraged to reach out to Cst. Cody Millian at 519-271-4141 ext. 8119.
