BlackburnNews.com photoThe Town of Saugeen Shores has reopened the Centennial Pool after a possible gas leak led to a brief closure this morning.
Around 8:30 a.m., the town issued a notice that the Port Elgin facility would be closed as a precaution while they examined the issue.
Just after 11 a.m., residents were notified that the pool was reopened.
Swimming lessons and regular programming will resume and affected participants have been updated individually by staff.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
