UPDATE: Suspicious Owen Sound death ruled a homicide

A suspicious death in Owen Sound on July 7 has now been deemed a homicide following a post-mortem examination.

Owen Sound Police Service and Grey Bruce OPP say the deceased has been identified as Terry Albert Hull of Toronto.

On Friday, July 7, around 11:50 a.m., the local police were called to a residence on 2nd Avenue East, where officers discovered a deceased 47-year-old male.

The homicide investigation is continuing under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.

Investigators say it's believed to be an isolated incident and there is not a concern for public safety.

They also say that residents of the area should expect to see a large police presence for the next few days.
