A celebration will take place in Owen Sound Wednesday at the new eastside McDonald's.
A ribbon cutting will officially open the new location at 1960 16th Street East at 11:15 a.m.
The new restaurant adds 50 new jobs to the community, and the search continues for more employees and managers for the location.
Local McDonald’s franchisee, Steve Sgro, will be presenting a cheque to Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario from their fundraising initiatives on McHappy Day.
The location opened its doors a few weeks ago.
