Yet another Midwestern Ontario emergency department will temporarily close heading into a weekend.
Due to staffing issues, the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance says the Clinton Public Hospital will close its emergency department all day on Sunday, June 18.
Regular hours of 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. will resume in Clinton on Monday, June 19. Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 9-1-1. Paramedics will remain available to the community and will re-route to the nearest available Emergency Department.
