The Southampton BIA is inviting residents to give their feedback on concepts for a High Street Renewal Plan.
The goal of the plan is to address concerns about infrastructure condition and safety. This can include hydro, sewers, asphalt, and sidewalks. The BIA is also looking for input on making the area prettier.
It hopes that this plan will make the High Street improvement a top priority for the municipality.
"We have an opportunity to improve Southampton's downtown infrastructure and create enhanced shopping and dining experiences along with safe cycling and pedestrian movement," said Bruce Martin, head of the sub-committee overseeing the plan. "The plan will enable us to achieve this.
Residents can voice their opinion at the Southampton Town Hall on May 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
