Wingham and District Hospital's emergency room (ER) had to be closed until Sunday morning, according to a statement from the Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance.
Urgent care shut down at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night, and did not reopen until 7 a.m. on Sunday.
A "staffing shortage" is once again to blame for the closure.
If in need of emergency care, local residents were advised to call 911 as Emergency Medical Services (EMS) can have you transported to another hospital in the area.
Non-emergencies can be discussed with qualified providers by calling Health Ontario at 811.
