South Bruce OPP are reminding motorists to keep an eye out for deer.
There were at least 10 collisions involving deer in the southern section of Bruce County between March 21 and April 3.
Officers responded to the crashes and said there were no injuries in any of them. But South Bruce OPP are asking motorists to take precautions to reduce their chances of hitting a deer.
Drivers should closely watch for deer during the highest risk times of day from sunset to midnight and right around sunrise.
If you see one deer there are likely more, so blast your horn to try to scare the animals away.
When possible, use your high beams to illuminate the eyes of deer on or near the roadway.
Brake firmly when you notice a deer in or near your path but stay in your lane.
