Bruce County has announced their new Director of Human Services.
The county has hired on Tina Metcalfe, who will be part of Bruce County's Senior Leadership Team. In her new role, Metcalfe will be planning, advocating and delivering "responsive and innovative services that help individuals and families enhance their level of participation and quality of life in our communities," according to a county release.
Under Metcalfe's leadership, the Human Services team will continue overseeing:
- Business and Human Services Integration
- Children’s Services
- Housing Facilities
- Housing Services
- Income and Support Services
- Strategic Community Initiatives and Funding
“We extend a warm congratulations to Tina Metcalfe, our new Director of Human Services, who will drive initiatives that enhance the quality of life of individuals, families, and communities by providing integrated and comprehensive services that remove barriers and create opportunities,” said CAO Derrick Thomson.
