Perth County Connect Transit Service is offering free rides for this year's March Break.
Transit Project Coordinator Maggie Kerr said P C Connect was launched during the pandemic in November of 2020, which it's believed limited the number of riders.
“But we have been on the road for a few years now and we're definitely starting to see our ridership increase and really take off. P C Connect actually has five different routes and we service Perth County, Stratford, St. Marys, Kitchener-Waterloo, and London,” said Kerr. “We're offering a free ride promotion for the whole March Break. So it's a great opportunity to try out the P C Connect Service and fill your kids week with some fun adventures throughout the county and surrounding areas. There are no restrictions and it's open to everyone.”
Kerr says the March Break promotion also falls on Transit Appreciation Day (March 18), an international day to celebrate public transportation services and the drivers who make them possible.
Kerr says more information about the service, the routes and schedules can be found on their web site at perthcounty.ca/pcconnect
