Snowen Sound Frolics get underway

Visitors and residents in Owen Sound can spend the month of February exploring the more than 1.4 million square meters of outdoor recreation space in the city.

Owen Sound tourism will be pointing participants to nine different "Snowen Sound Frolics" signs, where they can snap a picture and collect the code word. Once all of the code words are found at all #SnowenSound locations, they will form the secret Snowen Sound Frolics sentence.

Those participants who share photos from all nine #SnowenSound locations and decode the secret sentence will be entered for a chance to win prizes. The prizes are valued at $500 each. There will also be weekly giveaways, and some Family Day weekend bonuses.

Snowen Sound got its nickname from the abundance of snow the city receives during the winter, which averages 330.4 cm - the most in Ontario. The city has more than 1.4 million square meters of outdoor recreation space. Snowen Sound Frolics information is available on the City’s Tourism Website.
