UPDATE: West Grey police locate missing man

UPDATE: On Sunday evening around 6 p.m., West Grey Police issued a statement saying 73-year-old Peter Schiestel has been located and is safe.

Over the weekend, West Grey police were asking the public for help locating an elderly man who had been reported missing.

The resident of Neustadt was last seen on Friday, January 20 around 2 p.m. Police provided a description and photographs of the man and his vehicle.

Anyone with information about Schiestel's whereabouts was asked to call the West Grey police dispatch at 519-364-2411.
