Three Huron beaches remain under no-swim advisories heading into long weekend

The long weekend is around the corner, but three beaches in Huron County remain unsafe for swimming.

The Main Beach and Rotary Cove in Goderich, as well as Ashfield Park near Amberley, are under no-swim advisories.

An inspection team with Huron Perth Public Health finished resampling on Wednesday, which they noted is the final sampling that will be taken this season.

The team also inspected five other beaches that earlier had high levels of E.coli, but passed inspection, including the Port Albert, Amberley, Port Blake, St. Josephs, and Howard Street beaches.
