A house fire near Teeswater claimed one life.
South Bruce OPP said in a statement released Tuesday morning that officers were called to the scene on Bruce County Road 6 in Culross Township at 9:06 a.m. along with members of the South Bruce Fire Rescue.
When crews arrived, the house was fully engulfed. The body of one person was found inside.
Provincial police, along with South Bruce OPP Crime Unit, OPP Forensic Identification Services, the Ontario Fire Marshalls Office and the Coroner's Office are all investigating.
