Blustery weather is making for a slower drive around Midwestern Ontario.
The radar is showing lots of snowfall activity in Huron and Perth Counties and around the Mildmay and Teeswater areas.
Bruce Country Roads crews say roads are mostly snow covered in their patrol areas this morning but visibility is fair to good.
In Huron County, the Ministry of Transportation says its highways are partly to mostly snow covered with reduced visibility at times. You can expect side roads to be especially snowy and slippery.
It's much the same situation in Perth County.
Grey County is being spared the worst of the lake-effect snow. Visibility there is good and roads are mostly track bare to bare and wet.
There is a snow squall warning up for Huron County and southern Perth County and a winter weather travel advisory in effect for northern Perth County.
Squalls are expected to taper off today before redeveloping overnight and continuing through the weekend. There are no road closures at this time.
