Nancy Rothwell (North Perth) Chair of the BoardThe Avon Maitland District School Board held its inaugural board meeting Tuesday night.
Trustee Nancy Rothwell, representing North Perth, was elected Chair of the Board and Trustee Michael Bannerman, representing Stratford, was elected Vice Chair. Bruce Whitaker was elected as the Ontario Public School Board Association representative and Deborah Logue as the alternate delegate.
The next regular board meeting will be on Tuesday, November 29.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
