$6,000 donated to the Seaforth Hospital foundation

The Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation has received a generous donation from Scotia Wealth Management’s Share the Wealth campaign.

The foundation said the $6,000 donation was made possible by Alexander Cardno, who was a member of the Foundation Board from 2020 to 2021. Cardno nominated the foundation as a charity worthy of recognition and support based on the benefit the foundation brings to the Seaforth Community Hospital and community.

“We are so honoured that Alexander nominated the Foundation for this award,” said Ron Lavoie, Foundation Chair. “This donation will enhance the Seaforth community by assisting the Foundation’s goal of fundraising for a new Ultrasound unit. As we know ultrasound plays an essential role in helping healthcare professionals diagnose and determine treatment for a variety of conditions and diseases.”
