Kincardine asking for input into Waterfront Master Plan

The Municipality of Kincardine is crafting a Waterfront Master Plan.

The plan aims to create a vision and framework that will provide direction for the future of Kincardine’s waterfront parks.

Community engagement will play a key role in the creation of this type of plan, with the first of these events being a “come and go” set for 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 25th at Station Beach.

“Our waterfront is a diverse collection of facilities and amenities,” said Jayne Jagelewski, Director of Community Services. “The study area includes Dunsmoor Park, Kincardine Beach, MacPherson Park, Reunion Park, Rotary Sand n’ Slide Playground, and Station Beach.”

When completed, the Waterfront Master Plan will supply a guide to organize and prioritize plans for waterfront assets such as facilities, accessibility, parking, connectivity, and more.

More information about the Waterfront Master Plan is available at kincardine.ca/Waterfront-Master-Plan.
