Sauble Park beach closed to the public

Saugeen First Nation says that Sauble Park beach is closed to the public.

A note on SFN's website says the area is currently not allowing members of the public "due to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as seasonal erosion concerns."

The band says "safety is of the utmost importance", and they will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and further assess the erosion issues.

Sauble Park is located between Main Street in Sauble Beach and French Bay Road to the south.

At this time, the beach area is accessible for only to community members, or cottage leasees.
