The new Tom Patterson Theatre in Stratford will host its first public performance Tuesday evening.
Colm Feore will lead the cast of Richard III onto the stage at Stratford Festival.
Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino is the director of the play.
“For two long years, this spectacular theatre has been our sleeping beauty,” said Cimolino. “Now after years of planning, working and refining every detail, we get to bring the theatre to vibrant life. It is a dream come true.”
The production has its gala opening night on June 4.
The 2022 season at Stratford Festival also features Hamlet, Little Women and Chicago.
