Volunteers in St. Marys hosting scrap metal and e-waste pickup

St. Marys Volunteer Firefighters and Kinsmen Club of St. Marys will host a scrap metal and e-waste pickup event at the end of the month.

The event will happen on Saturday, April 30th with residents asked to leave their scrap metal and e-waste at their curb-side by no later than 8 a.m. on the 30th. Also, residents are asked to separate scrap metal from their e-waste to make the collection more easy on the volunteers. The proceeds from the scrap metal collection support Muscular Dystrophy Canada and local sports teams, while the e-waste collection supports Cystic Fibrosis.

Rural residents can drop off their scrap metal at Robson Scrap Metal on or before Saturday April 30th before noon.

  • DVD players and VCRs

  • Computers, keyboards, mice, copiers, scanners, fax machines and printers
  • Radios, monitors, televisions, tuners, video projectors, record players
  • Telephones, answering machines

The following items are not acceptable for pick-up:
