Several people have reported a rather large, military-style aircraft flying over Midwestern Ontario this week.
According to information from FlightRadar24.com, a website that shows real-time aircraft information on a map, a Super Hercules-class plane flew from San Diego to Halifax on Wednesday, taking a flight path over Bruce and Grey counties.
Super Hercules-class planes are turboprop military transport aircraft, and match the description provided by witnesses spaced out across a large area.
The specific type of aircraft on this route, according to FlightRadar24, was a Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules.
Residents from Mildmay, Ayton, Hanover and Shelburne have told CKNX that they heard, or saw, a very loud, large aircraft on Wednesday morning.
CKNX has been not been able to confirm which country the plane is registered to, but FlightRadar24 says it was travelling at approximately 25,000 feet as it passed over Bruce and Grey
