Hospital receives generous local donation

The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation received another generous donation recently.

In a release, the hospital foundation says they've graciously accepted a donation of $8,000 from the team at Britespan Building Systems Inc. that will go towards updating the staff locker room. The release states that Britespan's donation will allow for a "aesthetic refresh to the change room turning it from 1960s throwback to a modern space that is welcoming and comfortable."

The locker room isn't a public facing space, but the hospital foundation notes it's important to "allow hospital staff to have privacy and a place to decompress and transition from work to home."

“It was important for us to assist the Wingham & District Hospital with this project as we knew it directly benefited our local health care workers” says Rob Stute, Britespan Partner.
