Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Major Crime Unit has laid charges following a suspicious house fire in Mount Forest, after concluding an investigation in conjunction with the Office of the Fire Marshal.
Rodney John GRUBB, 45, of Mount Forest, has been charged with Arson - Disregard for Human Life, Arson - Damage to Property, Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon contrary to a Prohibition Order.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice in Guelph.
Emergency workers responded a structure fire on North Water Street West in the Village of Mount Forest On September 19, 2021. One occupant was sent to hospital with minor injuries.
