Police seek driver after hit-and-run in Stratford

Police are looking for a suspect following a hit-and-run collision in Stratford that sent a pedestrian to hospital.

The Stratford Police Service said the pedestrian was struck in the area of McCarthy Road and Fraser Drive on Saturday shortly before 7:30 p.m. A smaller grey car missing its passenger-side mirror was seen heading south on Fraser Drive following the collision.

Police were able to locate the black and white passenger-side mirror that broke off the vehicle at the scene.

The male pedestrian from Stratford was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
