Saugeen Shores launch environmental issues survey

Saugeen Shores' Environmental Stewardship Ad Hoc Committee (ESAC) is seeking public input on environmental issues in the community.

They've launched a survey to help the Committee understand the community's priorities related to issues such as reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, waste reduction and diversion, and mitigation of the effects of climate change.

"We encourage all members of our community to complete this survey," says ESAC Chair, Councillor Cheryl Grace. "We know our residents want to protect our local environment, and your feedback will be invaluable in assisting the committee with its recommendations to Council."

The public can complete the survey online by visiting www.SaugeenShores.ca/Survey. Paper copies of the survey are available for pick up at several locations including the Municipal Office.

The survey will close on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 12 p.m.
