COVID-19 vaccine clinics resume this week in several locations.
In Grey and Bruce a full week of pop-up clinics are being offered with three Monday.
The first is at the Hepworth Ball Diamond between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., the second at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. and later Monday at the Nuvia Plaza in Tiverton from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Vaccination rates continue to rise and the double dose rate has reached 73.8 percent for those in the group 12-years old and over while the single dose rate is over 80 percent.
"Again we work on all fronts, whether it is providing access, providing education and advocacy to the different agencies of these policies," said Dr. Ian Arra.
"I do believe we have a chance in a few weeks to up this number to 90 percent of vaccine coverage in our area. We might not reach it but the higher we get, the more protection for everybody, and the more chances for all of us to go back to a sense of normalacy."

In Huron and Perth, 78.8 percent of the 12-and-over age group has received on dose and the second dose rate has reached 70.9 percent.

Huron Perth Public Health is offering walk-in clinics as well as clinics that can be booked through an appointment.
In Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph, the second dose rate in the 12-years and old over group has surged to 75.6 percent.
