The Grey-Bruce Health Unit is hosting a long series of COVID-19 back-to-school vaccination clinics.
GBHU says in a release that "vaccination remains the most effective way to prevent severe illness and complications from COVID-19 and its variants. All students age 12 and older are urged to get both first and second doses of the vaccine prior to returning to school in person in September."
The vaccination clinics will be mobile pop-ups at high schools in the Grey-Bruce region and they will be walk-in, bike-in and drive-thru. While the clinics are geared toward students and their families, anyone is welcome for first or second doses and no appointments will be necessary.
The Saugeen Shores Fire Department is providing the mobile trailer to help facilitate these clinics.
