The provincial government is providing funding to help support cultural organizations in Perth-Wellington.
MPP Randy Pettapiece shared in a recent release that the province is giving just over $605,000 from the Ontario’s Reconnect Festivals and Events Program that will be split among 5 organizations. Those include Pazzo Pizzeria and Cafe Bouffon, the Stratford Festival, Stratford Summer Music, Drayton Entertainment and the Stratford Tourism Alliance for different events being held by all 5.
Ontario’s Reconnect Festivals and Events Program was initiated to "support the festivals and events sector, while helping municipalities and organizations deliver innovative and safe experiences that allow people to reconnect with their communities."
“Tourism and culture are vital in our area,” Pettapiece says. “Advocating on their behalf has always been a priority of mine. That will continue.”
