The co-owner of the Seaforth Golf Course says the pandemic has once again forced them to make some adjustments to their Seaforth Country Classic.
Carolanne Doig says they had originally thought that we would go back to the format of a Pro Am and then a two-day competition.
"We had originally thought that we would go back to the format of a Pro Am and then a two-day competition, but with all of the other tours and golf tournaments being condensed, everybody trying to catch up with what was postponed or cancelled last year, we had quite a few conflicts."
Doig says the result was there just weren't enough pros available to stage the Country Classic.
So Doig says they've decided to go with the one-day Pro Am on Friday, July 30th.
"We will have professionals, male and female and this year we've got some of the senior legends of golf from around this area, guys that have played on the Senior European Tour or the European Tour. They're lots of fund to play with because they've got lots of experience and lots of stories."
Doig says the Pro Am will start at one o'clock on July 30th and they're looking forward to having a lot of fun and raising some money for the Tanner Steffler Foundation.
