Wellington Warden, Mayor "disgusted" by viral TikTok video originating from Harriston

Ontario Provincial Police confirm they are investigating a TikTok video originating from Harriston that contains disturbing references to the recent murder of several people in London.

Wellington County Warden Kelly Linton and Town of Minto Mayor George Bridge releasing a joint statement on Friday, saying the individuals seen in the video "participate in services offered by the County of Wellington", and "the hurt expressed in the video is felt not only within the Muslim community, but by County staff as well".

In the combined statement, Linton and Bridge also said "The anti-Muslim sentiment expressed in this disgusting video is abhorrent to the residents of Wellington County and the Town of Minto, and all efforts must be used to denounce hatred in all its forms".

Wellington County OPP officials have not responded to a request for comment.
