Huron Shores Hospice is participating in the Great Canadian Giving Challenge run by Canada Helps.
This month, every dollar donated to the Huron Shores Hospice online will help the hospice earn a chance to win a $20,000 funding prize. In a release, the hospice says if they win the Great Canadian Giving Challenge, they will use the prize to help their residents create legacy projects that would keep their loved ones connected to them after they pass. That could include a record book to leave for grandchildren, a plaster mould of their hand, or even video and voice recordings.
The hospice also notes in their release that if you make a monthly donation through Canada Helps, Bruce Power will match your contribution through June 1st-15th. The first $5,000 in monthly donations accumulated over one year will be matched by Bruce Power.
