Kincardine Hospital main entrance to reopen June 1st

The main entrance to the Kincardine Hospital will reopen June 1st.

In an official release on May 27th, the South Bruce Grey Health Centre confirmed that at noon on Tuesday, June 1st, people will once again be able to enter the hospital through the main entrance again following a temporary relocation back in January. That relocation was made to allow for the reconstruction of the main entrance to accommodate the new addition which is coming for the CT scanner suite. The project modified the main entrance's canopy with structural walls and columns in preparation for the CT scanner addition.

The project was slated to be completed in 4 months time, and has been completed on time and on budget. The release states that the CT scanner addition will be constructed against the east wall of the south wing of the existing hospital building, immediately adjacent to the new hospital entry. That project is expected to begin this fall.
