Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation web series starts Tuesday

The Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation is launching it's 2021 webinar series this week.

Coastal Stewardship Coorinator Daniela Klipcer says all of the webinar's will run from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the first one is scheduled for Tuesday.

The first webinar is called "Breaking Up with Plastics".

“This webinar will give us a little chance to think about our daily routine and what we're using. Sometimes we don't really even think about what we're using in our day to day ... to eat or when we're drinking or the clothes that we wear and how our actions influence our lake,” sid Klipcer. “And also how to take action on our own properties and in our own day to day lives and it's simple stuff. We're going to look at cost-effective methods because there's a lot of really great opportunities to reduce our plastic footprint.”

All of the webinars are free and more information about them, including how to register, can be found on the Lake Huron Centre website.
