Bruce County Housing reports 548 applicants are on the Bruce County Community Housing Registry waitlist, with 510 applications for rent geared to income. There are 159 families, 227 adults, and 162 senior applications on the waitlist.
Highlights from the recent Bruce County Council meeting report that there have been 18 applicants housed between January 1, 2021 and March 31, 2021.
Staff have been successful in assisting forty-eight residents apply for the Canada Ontario Housing Benefit program. They are now receiving their benefit and have been removed from the waitlist.
