Bruce Grey Catholic School Board seeking budget input

The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board wants to hear from the community about the upcoming 2021-2022 budget.

The Board says the theme this year is "Purpose is the Reason We Journey. Passion is the Fire that Lights Our Way." It means the board wants to meet the needs of every student, while inspiring Catholic values.

The results of this survey will be utilized by the Internal Audit Committee, the Board of Trustees and Senior Administration throughout the budget preparation and planning process and will be presented as part of the budget presentation at the June 20, 2021 board meeting.

“Our annual budget is an important process for setting the stage for the upcoming school year. As we continue to deal with the impacts of COVID-19, feedback on the programming and services  needed to support our students and staff is so important.” said Alecia Lantz, Superintendent of Business & Treasurer. “I would like to encourage our Catholic school communities to take this  opportunity to provide valuable input and feedback to assist us in creating this year’s budget.”

Those interested in providing feedback can do so through ThoughtExchange, a confidential interactive tool where your thoughts will be shared but not your identity. The opportunity to provide feedback will be open to Friday May 14, 2021.
