Unemployment rate decreases in March for Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region

The unemployment rate dipped slightly last month in the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region.

At the same time, the provincial unemployment rate decreased to 9.1 percent, with both rates unadjusted for seasonality. Overall net employment in the area increased by 400, with full-time gains at 700 offset by some part time losses. The number of goods-producing sector employees increased by a net gain of 2,100.
