Kincardine have completed their search for a new fire chief.
In a recent release, the municipality confirmed that Brad LeMaich will be the new Kincardine Fire Chief, effective April 7th, 2021. Brad has extensive experience, with 10 years served as a volunteer firefighter and 8 years as a full-time Fire Chief and Community Emergency Management Coordinator in other rural municipalities like Tillsonburg and Shelburne.
Kincardine Mayor Anne Eadie stated in the release that she is thankful to Interim Fire Chief Kevin McNeilly, who filled in over the last year during the pandemic while the municipality completed an extensive search for a permanent fire chief.
“We are pleased to welcome Brad to the Municipality of Kincardine and our management team,” says Sharon Chambers, Chief Administrative Officer, Municipality of Kincardine. “We look forward to his contributions and are excited to bring his leadership, administration, and planning skills to the department. We would also like to extend our appreciation and thanks to Interim Fire Chief Kevin McNeilly who has been integral in assisting with the transition for the past year.”
